IFC purpose
So, what is the aim of this initiative and how could it help the graduates of FWD? Firstly, IFC is aiming to help FWD graduates to practice what they have learned, assist them in establishing their first step in freelancing and maximize the exposure of the initiative’s graduates to the global community of employers on freelancing platforms and to provide employers with sponsored opportunities to benefit from the talents of Egypt’s youth armed professional skills in hot tech domains. And all of that was done by offers 100 contests and project opportunities, each representing a freelancing gig challenge that is offered by an international employer and time-bound. Freelancers submit their work to compete over several winning awards at the end of each contest. And the winners are financially awarded.

My story with IFC
And personally, after I have finished the digital marketing nano degree course, I was indeed in the need of this initiative to practice what I have learned and start freelancing, because of corona situation and also as I am a student and I only can work part-time jobs. So, I entered this initiative and learned how to compete in contests and gigs and some of the important things in digital marketing that helped me to find what I still need to work on to improve to increase my potentials and win gigs.
So, do you find it successful and are you inspired by IFC and FWD?
