ترجمة قصة من اللغة العربية الى النجليزية بتدقيق وبدون أخطاء

القصة قبل الترجمة :

يُحكى أنّ رجلا عجوزًا كان يعيش في قرية بعيدة، وكان أتعس شخص على وجه الأرض، حتى أنّ كلّ سكان القرية سئموا منه، لأنَّه كان مُحبَطًا على الدوام، ولا يتوقّف عن التذمر والشكوى، ولم يكن يمرّ يوم دون أن تراه في مزاج سيء.

وكُلّما تقدَّم به السنّ، ازداد كلامه سوءًا وسلبية… وقد كان سكّان القرية ينجنّبونه قدر الإمكان، فسوء حظّه أصبح مُعديًا. ويستحيل أن يحافظ أيّ شخص على سعادته بالقرب منه، فقد كان ينشر مشاعر الحزن والتعاسة لكلّ من حوله.

لكن، وفي أحد الأيام وحينما بلغ العجوز من العمر ثمانين عامًا، حدث شيء غريب، وبدأت إشاعة عجيبة في الانتشار:

- "الرجل العجوز سعيد اليوم، إنه لا يتذمّر من شيء، والابتسامة ترتسم على محيّاه، بل إن ملامح وجهه قد أشرقت وتغيّرت!"

تجمّع القرويون عند منزل العجوز، وبادره أحدهم بالسؤال:

- "ما الذي حدث لك؟"

وهنا أجاب العجوز:

- "لا شيء مهمّ! ... لقد قضيتُ من عمري 80 عامًا أطارد السعادة بلا طائل. ثمّ قرّرت بعدها أن أعيش من دونها، وأن أستمتع بحياتي وحسب، لهذا السبب أنا سعيد الآن!"

القصة بعد الترجمة :

It is told that an old man lived in a distant village, and he was the unhappiest person on the face of the earth. To the point that all the villagers grew weary of him because he was constantly disheartened, never ceasing to complain and express grievances. Not a day passed without seeing him in a bad mood.

As he grew older, his words became more negative and pessimistic. The villagers avoided him as much as possible, and his ill fortune became contagious. It was impossible for anyone to maintain their happiness in his presence, as he spread feelings of sadness and misery to everyone around him.

However, one day, when the old man reached the age of eighty, something strange happened. A peculiar rumor began to spread:

"The old man is happy today. He does not complain about anything, and a smile has appeared on his face. In fact, the features of his face have brightened and changed!"

The villagers gathered at the old man's house, and one of them asked:

"What happened to you?"

To this, the old man replied:

"Nothing important! ... I spent 80 years chasing happiness in vain. Then, I decided to live without it and to enjoy my life as it is. That's why I am happy now!"
