الأدب العربي هو مجموع الأعمال المكتوبة باللغة العربية، ويشمل الأدب العربي النثر والشعر المكتوبين بالعربية وكذلك يشمل الأدب القصصي والرواية والمسرح والنقد. ازدهر الأدب العربي خلال العصر الذهبي للإسلام، وظل نابضًا بالحياة حتى يومنا هذا.

يمكن تقسيم الأدب العربي إلى عدة عصور، وهي:

العصر الجاهلي: وهو العصر الذي سبق الإسلام، ويتميز بشعره الغزير الذي يتناول موضوعات الفخر والحب والغزل والرثاء.

العصر الإسلامي: وهو العصر الذي بدأ بعد الإسلام، ويتميز بتنوعه الأدبي الذي شمل الشعر والنثر والقصص والمسرح والتاريخ والفلسفة.

العصر العباسي: وهو العصر الذي ازدهر فيه الأدب العربي بشكل كبير، ويتميز بظهور العديد من المبدعين في مختلف المجالات الأدبية.

العصر الأندلسي: وهو العصر الذي شهد انتشار الأدب العربي في الأندلس، ويتميز بظهور شعراء وكتاب بارزين مثل ابن زيدون وابن خفاجة.

العصر الحديث: وهو العصر الذي بدأ بعد سقوط الأندلس، ويتميز بتنوعه الأدبي الذي شمل الشعر والنثر والقصة والرواية والمسرح.

من أهم رواد الأدب العربي:

في العصر الجاهلي: امرؤ القيس، وعمر بن أبي ربيعة، والنابغة الذبياني، وأبو تمام الطائي، والبحتري.

في العصر الإسلامي: الجاحظ، وأبو العلاء المعري، وابن المقفع، وابن رشد، وابن خلدون.

في العصر العباسي: أبو الطيب المتنبي، وأبو فراس الحمداني، وابن الرومي، وأبو نواس.

في العصر الأندلسي: ابن زيدون، وابن خفاجة، وابن عبد ربه، وابن حزم.

في العصر الحديث: نزار قباني، ومحمود درويش، وإحسان عبد القدوس، وطه حسين، ومحمد عبده.

التنوع: يتميز الأدب العربي بتنوعه، حيث يضم العديد من الأنواع الأدبية المختلفة التي تتناول موضوعات متنوعة.

يلعب الأدب العربي دورًا مهمًا في المجتمع العربي، فهو يعكس ثقافة المجتمع وتاريخه وقضاياه. ويساهم الأدب العربي في إثراء الحياة الثقافية والفكرية للمجتمع العربي.

The Andalusian era: This is the era that witnessed the spread of Arabic literature in Andalusia, and is characterized by the emergence of prominent poets and writers such as Ibn Zaydun and Ibn Khafaja.

The Modern Age: This is the era that began after the fall of Andalusia, and is characterized by its literary diversity, which included poetry, prose, short stories, novels, and theater.

Among the most important pioneers of Arabic literature:

In the pre-Islamic era: Imru’ al-Qais, Omar bin Abi Rabi’ah, al-Nabigha al-Dhubyani, Abu Tammam al-Ta’i, and al-Buhturi.

In the Islamic era: Al-Jahiz, Abu Al-Ala Al-Maarri, Ibn Al-Muqaffa, Ibn Rushd, and Ibn Khaldun.

In the Abbasid era: Abu al-Tayyib al-Mutanabbi, Abu Firas al-Hamdani, Ibn al-Rumi, and Abu Nawas.

In the Andalusian era: Ibn Zaydun, Ibn Khafaja, Ibn Abd Rabbo, and Ibn Hazm.
