In a previous analysis, I examined the salaries of programmers in India and mentioned my intention to expand this analysis to multiple countries to highlight the differences between nationalities within the same field. Thankfully, I have been able to gather data on the salaries of web developers in Egypt.
The dataset includes the following variables: {Title, Salary, Years of Experience, Work Hours, Work Type, Company Nationality, City of Company Site}.
I'd like to draw attention to an intriguing observation regarding the relationship between salary and experience. Upon examining the chart depicting the average salary increase with increasing years of experience, I noticed a distinct trend. Salaries tend to rise steadily up to around 4 years of experience. After this point, there's a gradual decline until reaching a low point at approximately 8 years of experience. I believe this decline may be attributed to companies often perceiving individuals with this level of experience as overqualified.
However, beyond the 8-year mark, there is a notable resurgence in the salary trend. It appears that individuals with extensive experience, particularly those with over 8 years, become highly sought after by global companies. These companies are willing to invest significantly in individuals with such expertise, recognizing their immense value and expertise.
