Data Warehouse & ETL Specialist

Summary:

The Data Warehouse & ETL Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse environment and ensuring that data is processed and loaded efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and deploy ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Develop and maintain our Data Warehouse infrastructure.

Collaborate with other departments to understand their data needs and translate them into ETL processes.

Optimize existing ETL workflows for performance and scalability.

Debug and resolve ETL errors and data discrepancies.

Implement ETL best practices and stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Ensure that the data loaded into the Data Warehouse is accurate and of high quality.

Work closely with data analysts and other stakeholders to gather requirements for new ETL tasks.

Provide technical support for ETL-related queries and issues.

Document ETL processes, data flow diagrams, and other relevant technical specifications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Strong experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Data Warehousing concepts.

Knowledge of data modeling principles and best practices.

Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with other ETL tools and technologies.

Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.

Experience in working with large datasets and optimizing ETL processes for performance.
