Hero - an app that I'm incredibly excited about. Our primary mission is to assist people during emergencies, whether these emergencies involve humans, pets, or any general emergency like a gas leak. It's disheartening to know that a Red Cross survey revealed a shocking 59% of deaths from injuries that could have been prevented if first aid had been administered before emergency services arrived.

Hero is designed to address this critical issue by providing simple and clear step-by-step instructions in the most efficient ways possible, such as through videos or audio guidance. We understand the urgency of emergencies, so we've incorporated tools to ensure swift access to essential information. Let me highlight two of these features:

Search: To accommodate the possibility of mistyped queries during stressful situations, we've implemented fuzzy matching algorithms. The search also allows the user's queries, whether in voice or text, to be matched with synonyms and related symptoms of the emergency case.

Hero Chatbot: Our application's key module is the Hero Chatbot. With a simple description of the emergency via text or voice, Hero promptly provides appropriate instructions in return, helping users make informed decisions.

Throughout our project, we harnessed breakthrough technologies, including Android Kotlin, DialogFlow ES, PHP Laravel Framework, and Docker, to ensure a robust design and user-friendly experience.

Hero's ultimate goal is to empower people to act confidently and promptly during emergencies, potentially saving lives. We look forward to making a positive impact.
