The proposal for the urban planning project in Zamalek aims to create a sustainable, affordable and resilient community while preserving the heritage and culture of the area. s.

The individual responsibility is to design the terrace house. The terrace house has a total built-up area of 500 square meters and has to accommodate a elders and couples with 3 residents at each apartment . The house is designed to promote a healthy and comfortable living environment while being highly sustainable and affordable. The project is consist of four floors including the ground floor.

The terrace house has a courtyard that is designed to be a green oasis and a source of natural light and ventilation. The courtyard also has a rainwater harvesting system that collects rainwater for irrigation and other purposes.
