Digital Activity

I am pleased to attend the Palestinian Digital Activity Forum 2023 where it has several sessions and workshops including:

Google Tools to Stay Digital Secure workshop hosting people from Google to learn about a range of Google tools and products that we can use to serve digital safety online. The importance of this session comes with the increasing security gaps online and the increased use of spying and tracking technologies, which calls for a deeper understanding of the different tools across the platforms that we use on a daily or almost daily basis to serve our digital safety.

Digital security workshop where engineer Mahmoud Maher Abu Ghosh touched on issues of privacy preservation and data protection, where legislation and laws aimed at protecting data in some countries are absent and may be weak and of little importance in others. This has resulted in a further infringement of the digital rights of the world's individuals, especially as technological companies, telecommunications companies, Internet service providers and governments are increasingly interested in collecting data, either for profit or to monitor citizens and militarize digital spaces.

As well as a workshop for the digital presence of activists, Eng. Mohammed Hisham Abu al-Gambaz addressed the creation of a digital interaction and influential digital presence aimed at increasing the spread of content and digital story and influencing the public and persuading them.
