Main Responsibilities:

Software Development background

Strong experience with API testing

Experience working as a software tester is essential

Knowledge and experience testing using agile methodologies preferable

Working in an Agile environment

Working in an Azure DevOps, Jira and Team Foundation Server

Experience with SQL

Familiarity with Git or similar source control platforms

Knowledge of cross-browser testing

Familiarity with Postman

Familiarity with DevOps principles.

Familiarity with non-functional testing (security, accessibility etc)

Experience in QA lead role.

Experience in creating the test cases

Experience with building and executing manual test cases for client Web & GUI applications

Experience working with data, API

High attention to detail and accuracy

Experience of User Acceptance Testing

Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and the SDLC

Solid background in manual testing

Software testing experience, including web and mobile testing

Experience of preparing test documentation including test plans, test scripts, defect reports and progress updates.

Testing large scale global websites.

Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Proven experience of working with daily releases and high output of development work.

Ability to react well to changing requirements with a positive attitude.

Identifying and carrying out regression testing where appropriate.

Reporting defects accurately and managing through to successful resolution via Jira.

Reporting testing progress to the Testing Manager by communicating effectively and escalating where appropriate.

Writing test cases and test procedures.

Ensuring the system meets acceptance criteria.

Managing the system test environment, and ensuring it is suitable for testing activity.

Developing and agreeing defect management processes for defect reporting and resolving.

Understanding of system functionality and best practices.

Testing of UI’s and back end processes.

Experience in Agile teams, or other development methodologies (Waterfall etc).

Manual testing, smoke testing for functionality.
