• To conduct studies that helps the organization to take the right decision regarding
purchases.
• To keep records / files in the computer about the company's purchases, suppliers,
prices and itemsthat are dealt with in a manner that facilitates reference if needed
• To develop policies and all conditions necessary to complete procurements
• To carry out a good study on the market and determine the status of competing
companies andinstitutions
• To arrange and record all data related to purchases according to the records specified for
the same
• To bring samples of the items to be purchased from the market for inspection with the
ordering partybefore deciding on the purchase.
• To follow up the arrival of items and ensure that they conform to the specifications
recorded in thepurchase order in coordination with the stores and the ordering party
• To follow-up with the warehouse department regarding the issuance of entry vouchers
Warehouses work experience:
1. To direct and follow up the work progress in material warehouses, verifying the proper implementation
of storage, handling and disbursement systems for the needs of factories and sales departments in
accordance with the approved regulations.
2. To work on developing business relations with the requesting parties and intervening to solve the
problems that hinder the warehouses’ dealings with the factories, and verify the stores’ ability to meet
the needs of production and distribution.
3. Setting appropriate rules for organizing and improving work methods in stores and supervising their
implementation and development, including:
• To revise the planning of appropriate storage and handling locations and methods for each
item of inventory.
• Good follower of the method of recording and controlling the movement of stock by adding,
disbursing and retrieving (exchange cards, entries, and exits).
• To consider security, safety and environmental protection requirements in materials storage
and handling.
• To define and distributing the duties and responsibilities of warehouse employees.
4. To perform continuous inspection of the affiliated warehouses, take the necessary corrective measures,
treat work obstacles, and prepare periodic reports on the work of the stores according to theapproved
system.
5. To cooperate with the Quality Department and the validity of import quality control procedures.
6. Verify the adequacy and good performance of the transport and handling equipment in the stores, and
provide the needs for its maintenance with the central maintenance department or the concerned party.
7. To follow up stock balances, and supervise the preparation of the necessary data on the movement of
stock items to review purchase plans and get rid of stagnation.
8. To support and develop working relationships with the Central Needs Department, and verify the
provision of the necessary data for planning and executing procurement work and managing the needs
of factories and sales.
9. Guidance, development and management of management personnel:
• To determine the needs of manpower regarding the affiliated stores, and follow up on the
procedures for providing them under the supervision of the Human Resources Department.
• To perform an evaluation of the performance of direct subordinates, setting career development
plans to raise their performance levels, and reviewing and approving the results of evaluating
the performance of other employees and plans to develop their performance levels
for thereceived materials and work to pay the supplier invoices in a timely manner
• To follow up supply regarding late orders
• To dispose unnecessary stored items
• To set periodic reports on the company's purchases
• To try getting the best prices for the raw materials needed for the production process,
and you also see the need for these materials to enjoy a very high quality so that they can
be used in the production of high-quality products that satisfy all tastes, and achieve
more profits for the institution or establishment
• To develop a plan to attract the best suppliers to deal with the institution, as well as
increase the number of suppliers to ensure that production is not delayed
• To promote relationships between suppliers and the institution due to the important role
that suppliers play for the institution in providing the materials it needs
• To achieve cooperation and integration between all departments within the organization
