Clinic Appointment Booking System

Introduction:

↣A local clinic has decided to implement a digital appointment booking system to streamline its operations and improve the patient experience. The system will consist of two types of users: administrators and patients. Administrators will have access to additional features such as managing doctors and viewing reservations. On the other hand, patients will be able to book appointments with doctors based on availability.

Goals:

‣The primary goals of implementing the clinic appointment booking system are as follows:

‣Provide a user-friendly platform for patients to book appointments with doctors.

‣Automate the appointment booking process, reducing manual effort and errors.

‣Enable administrators to manage doctors and view reservations efficiently.

‣Enhance the overall patient experience and streamline clinic operations.

System Features:

The clinic appointment booking system will include the following features:

↣Patient Pages:

‣Patient Login: Patients can log in using their credentials to access their accounts.

‣Appointment Booking: Patients can view available doctors, select a preferred doctor, and book an appointment by specifying their name, doctor, day, and time.

‣Appointment Filtering: The system will automatically filter out reserved times and past appointments from the available time slots.

‣Doctor List: Patients can access a list of doctors and their specialties. Clicking on a doctor's name will redirect them to the appointment booking page for that specific doctor.

↣ Admin Pages:

‣Admin Login: Administrators can log in using their credentials to access their accounts.

‣Patient Pages Access: Administrators can access patient pages but with additional features.

‣Doctor Reservations: Administrators can view reservations specifically for each doctor. Clicking on a doctor's name will redirect them to the reservations for that doctor.

‣Doctor Management: Administrators can add new doctors to the system, including their names and specialties.

‣Reservation List: Administrators can view a list of all reservations made by patients.
