Uncovering the Truth: Analyzing Atlanta's Crime Data and Revealing Misleading Trends

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share my latest Python project with you all. I recently worked on analyzing a crime dataset from the police committee in Atlanta, which contained over 250K crimes from 2009 to 2017. Through this project, I was able to uncover some interesting insights on how to look good to the public by manipulating crime rate data, even when crime is actually spiking.

I also used old data and an HDBSCAN model to predict the degree of danger in different areas. This analysis can be incredibly useful for anyone looking to understand their level of risk in a particular location.
