Introduction:

Colors has a sweet flavor mixed with safety that resides within ourselves and hope still binds us with life as it is tying pieces of ourselves together.

Art is a mirror of previous times; it’s a record that gathers the details of our understanding of the Cause so it could live on and get passed to other generations. The Culture and Free Thought association seeks to wipe out the tears of our people and make them feel safe. We also want to deepen the understanding of the cause, to encourage art as it is a universal language that is read by the eyes, the heart and the mind; it’s a language that everyone understands especially that art from the Gaza Strip and what it holds of details of war, destruction and devastation.

“It’s our right to live safely” campaign is a documentation and a representation of children’s life in Gaza Strip. It’s portrayed through drawings, writing, photography and other kinds of art; these all represent their right to live safely. This Art speaks of who these children are; expressed from each child’s perspective. Keeping in mind that this art won’t give them back their stolen houses and their loved ones, it could though build more resilience and strength within themselves.

Magazine is an art magazine that includes a painting of many colors and thoughts that was a result of the support and advocacy of “it’s our right to live safely”. We hope it would enhance their awareness and love of their country.
