Pelé, born Edson Arantes do Nascimento on October 23, 1940, is a retired Brazilian professional football player who is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time. Pelé is a three-time FIFA World Cup winner with Brazil and is the only player to have won the World Cup three times.
