GENERAL NOTES

1- All levels are in meters, all dimensions are in

millimeters.

2- All blockwork exceeding 4 m height to be reinforced

horizontally.

3- All opening heights and sill heights are measured from

F.F.L .

4- Plastering should be stop 100mm above false ceiling.

5- Façade, plans, toilets, stairs, elevators, escalators,

doors, windows, internal elevations, screed, and handrails

drawings will be submitted separately

6- Builder work and wall openings to be according MEP

requirements.

7- Solid cement masonry bricks for assemblies below

grade, wet areas, first three courses of walls and

boundary of opening, back of mechanically fixed stone

cladding and at opening jambs.

8- 3 courses of solid cement masonry bricks under

bearing plates, beams, lintels and similar conditions

unless otherwise indicated.

9- For wall types and fire rating refer to the wall types

tags ( M: minutes, HR: hours ).

10- The underside of concrete floor slabs or beams and

the top joint shall be filled with fire stopping material

( as approved material ).

10- Control joints does not exceed 15 meters.

11- The filler at the exposed faces of expansion joints

shall be cut back 20mm or on completion of the

structure and the joint sealed with a joint sealant.

12- Mechanical equipments and pits to be referred in

structural and mechanical shopdrawing
