المسكن ببساطة هو المأوى أو الفراغ الواقي الذي يقي الإنسان من العوامل الخارجية ويوفر له احتياجاته الضرورية ولنا أن نعلم في البداية أن العمارة من منطقة لأخرى مختلفة دائما وما يعتبر ضروري في منطقة لا يعتبر أساسيا للآخرين.

The dwelling is simply the shelter or the protective space that protects a person from external factors and provides him with his necessary needs. We have to know at the outset that architecture from one region to another is always different and what is considered necessary in one region is not considered essential for others.
