Measuring Distance using HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor and Arduino Uno

Ultrasonic Module HC-SR04 works on the principle of SONAR and RADAR systems. It can be used to determine the distance of an object in the range of 2 cm – 400 cm.

Using the time between the Trigger pulse and its Echo, and the speed of sound in the air, we can determine the distance of an object.

Components:-

1) Arduino Uno.

2) HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor module.

3) LCD Display.

4) Passive components like Resistors, Switches, Capacitors, and LEDs.

Developed using C language in Arduino IDE, and simulated using Proteus 8 Professional.
