The founder of Save Our Strays Lebanon had always taken care of stray animals, rescuing strays and delivering them to shelters or foster families. In 2021, she decided to plant safe feeding stations around Beirut and its suburbs. The pairs of large-size plastic tubes filled with animal feed and water, usually tied to a tree, keep our furry friends nourished and hydrated, and help lessen the risk of contamination and dangerous littering. The founder’s primary Save Our Strays account was hacked, thus she had to start over and decided to contact us and start fresh with a brand-new logo.

The logo combines a cat, a dog, and an illustration of the pair of plastic tubes aforementioned. The logo’s illustrated nature implies the playful and sweet nature of pets as well as the pure message behind the organisation. It is worth mentioning that the cat illustrated in the logo is the founder’s personal cat, Pinky.

The colour palette for this project was there all along, as the founder’s pairs of plastic tubes were the base of the logo, yellow and blue, in addition to the darker shade of blue for the paws and name.
