Training and Development consultant and a certified Chemical Engineering consultant who has more than 24+ years of unique, broad and rich experience with Saudi Aramco. My career path has wide range of assignments starting from Operation Engineering, Inspection & Corrosion Engineering, New Business Development and arriving to the ripe area of Training & Development (T&D). However, I am one of those rare individuals who offer a broad and comprehensive variety of experiences with the unique ability to apply both simultaneously to uncover creative solutions and apply fresh initiatives.
Handle a mission for a unique organization at the corporate level where Local Workforce Expansion is the only entity championing Saudization KPIs and leading a complex function that affects the operation in all business lines and their associated contractors. Represented T&D and Saudi Aramco at all levels in all Saudization related initiatives kingdom wide to bring synergy and cut across organization silos by consistently applying lessons learned. Intensified the volume of Saudis with business partners and improve the company status in the area of Saudization by including Saudization provisions in all applicable contracts, this included working on both the strategic and technical levels to ensure developing robust strategies for such massive activity that can then be executed diligently with sustainable progress.
Managed to be integral part of the Corporate Saudization since its inception and crafted the cornerstones to intransigence formidable limitations to open the door to a future where trained, reliable Saudi workers are fulfilling Saudi Aramco contractors’ requirements. Crafted and executed strategies that aim at increasing the Saudi component in Saudi Aramco contractors’ workforce (200,000+). The function aligns with goals and aspiration of Saudi Vision 2030 to create jobs for our youth and expanding Saudi workforce ensuring sustainable Nationalization level. This included working both on the strategic and tactical levels to ensure developing robust strategies that can then be executed smoothly with sustainable progress.
Successfully renovated required policies & procedures under Saudization General Instructions, Schedule ‘S’ and Procurement Manual to support the redeployment, training & development and well-being for contractors’ Saudi manpower that, ultimately, will lead to capable and sustainable workforce in the future.

Improved jobs sustainability and proactively redeployed skilled Saudi workforce (60,000+) among Saudi Aramco’s contractors. Also, supported In-Kingdom Total Value Add Program (IKTVA) in job creation, training in collaboration with National Strategic Partnership training centers and accelerate the Saudization of jobs in three categories: Construction, Services and Manufacturing and conducted Targeted Employment Events and Saudization Forums.
Mandated On-Job-Training (OJT) structured program as part of any contract to resolve high attrition rates and ensure newly hired Saudi manpower are continuing their employment. Additionally, new IT Solution that was approved by Management Committee to support the monitoring and reporting of more than 1,000 corporate contracts, and the management and facilitation of the redeployment of an excess of 65,000+ Saudi employees working for Saudi Aramco’s contractors.
Developed a new corporate Business Partners HR Framework and Strategy with the aim to increase the Saudization of Saudi Aramco’s business partners to reach 70%. The recommended Saudization Strategy, aims at changing the current Saudization philosophy based on setting provisions into contracts, to one that is based on supporting our Business Partners and establishing a partnership model with them in order to achieve our common objective. Created a new Nationalization requirements for new business being developed by Aramco New Business Development. The contracting phrases being added to MOUs and Contractors spell out the Saudization requirements at the various phases of the new business life cycle.
Led the effort to establish an independent not-for-profit HR Services Company Saudization Certification Company (Saudico) to ensure that qualified Saudis are matched to business partners’ needs. The HR Services Company would play two key roles: first it will provide employment services, and second it will develop a labor pool of qualified construction tradesmen and in the process safeguard against high turnover due to cyclical nature of the construction sector.
