Brand Identity - Baytoute

'Baytoute' is a Lebanese brand specialized in selling homemade mouneh products. 'Mouneh' comes from the Arabic word mana, meaning 'to store'. Storing food in a traditional way was essential to all Lebanese throughout history, and still is.

We designed a logo that combines a jar (which most mouneh items are placed in) and a house (representing them being homemade). Warm, autumn colors were chosen since mouneh is typically consumed in the cold seasons, in order to give the consumer a sense of warmth and coziness during the cold.
